Bacopa Australis is relatively newer in the planted aquarium hobby. It is a bit rarer than its common counterparts such as Bacopa Monnieri and Bacopa Caroliniana and features a similar appearance to Micranthemum Umbrosum. However, like almost all Bacopa species, Bacopa Australis is fairly easy to grow and is great for beginners. It does not need CO2 injection and a simple nutrient-rich environment alongside clean water will be sufficient. It can also be grown submersed or emersed and will bloom tiny pink and white flowers above water.
