Selaginella Siamensis Hieron is a cultivar that offers closely set leaves along long, spindly green stems. This vascular species provides delicate texture and would work beautifully in any terrarium or enclosed container garden. Selaginella also goes by Spike Moss, Club Moss and Trailing Moss. Substrate should be kept moist at all times, not overly wet and provided with high humidity level for favorable conditions. Selaginella typically thrives best in warmer climates so keeping its environment above 50F is best for its livelihood. Selaginella does best in bright, indirect light, but will tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions. Selaginella Wallichi is not an aquarium plant. Submerging this plant in an aquarium will kill it!
