Drosera Spatulata ‘Lovellae’ – Aquatic Farmer

Drosera spatulata var. lovellae is a vibrant and easygoing sundew known for its compact form and rich red tones. Under bright light, its spoon-shaped leaves and sticky tentacles develop a scarlet hue that is sure to stand out in a terrarium or in any carnivorous plant collection. Like other Drosera, it captures small insects and is a fascinating plant to grow and observe.

It grows best in consistently moist, bog-like conditions. If you decide to grow it on its own, you can keep its pot in a shallow dish of water. Alternatively, if you choose to add it to a planted setup, pick a spot where it has good access to water at its base. Drosera plants will do best with distilled, rain or RO water sources.
