Nesaea Pedicellata Golden is an aquatic stem plant that is still relatively uncommon in the planted aquarium hobby. Derived from the original species, Nesaea Pedicellata Golden is a cultivar that has vibrant golden-green leaves that run along a bright pink stem.
It is a moderately sized plant and can be planted in the midground of your aquascape or in the background if you have a smaller tank. Nesaea is pretty easy to grow if your aquarium has CO2 injection, good aquasoil and moderate to high lighting conditions. When your soil is aged, consider introducting a gentle aquatic plant fertilizer to sustain healthy, vibrant growth. Like all aquarium stem plants, Nesaea Pedicellata Golden will need to be trimmed regularly to achieve a bushy look and to prevent lower parts of the plant from becoming overly shaded.
