Microsorum Pteropus AKA Java fern is a staple aquascaping plant! Java Fern Flaming, as its name implies, features vibrant green color with crinkled leaves that resemble a flame. Equally hardy as other varieties, this Java Fern is a little smaller, making it suitable for nearly all tank sizes. Its care is comparable to other rhizome plants like Anubias, Bucephalandra or Cryptocoryne, making it a top pick for beginners as well. Recently reclassified asLeptochilus pteropus, this plant is still widely known as Microsorum pteropus.
