Limnophila Aromatica ‘Mini’, sometimes abbreviated to Limno Mini Vietnam or Aromatica Mini, is a fast-growing aquarium stem plant commonly used in planted tanks. This aquatic plant soft green color with hints of pink/purple depending on tank conditions. Its star-shaped leaves with slightly serrated edges are unique and stand out when compared to popular species like Rotala or Ludwigia. Its versatile with placement and can also be grown in emersed conditions (it produces a lovely scent above water!).
General care is similar to other aquatic stem plants. Provide it with moderate to high lighting, CO2 injection and regular trimming once established. Use a quality liquid plant fertilizer and you’ll have bushes of Limnophila in your aquascape in no time!
