Heavy duty ceramic fixtures can handle up to 150 watts. Turn heaters down on a hot day and back up in the evening, change temperatures seasonally without changing bulbs, or just improve lamp life by running them at lower power.
Older packaging on the clamp lamp does say it can be used with ceramic heat emitters, however that is no longer the case. The Wire Cage Clamp Lamp (LF-10) is the only UL listed fixture for use with the Ceramic Heat Emitters.
