Is it safe for long-finned bettas?
Yes — the soft plastic material is the whole point. Soft enough that it won’t snag or tear flowing veil-tail, halfmoon, or rosetail fins the way stiff plastic plants can.

Will the suction cup stay attached?
Wet it before pressing onto clean glass and it should hold for weeks at a time. If it loosens, just pop it off, re-wet, and re-press.

Can I use this in a planted tank?
Absolutely — the broad leaf surface is useful even alongside live plants because few aquatic plants naturally provide a horizontal surface near the waterline for a betta to rest on.

Does it work in saltwater?
It’s designed for freshwater betta setups. Most fish don’t need a surface-resting plant the way bettas do, so we don’t recommend it for saltwater applications.
