WIO Etna Lava Stone Kit is a multicolored volcanic rock that highlights the power of nature with its complex colors, textures, and irregular forms. Named after the iconic Sicilian volcano, Etna Lava displays a rich palette of deep brownish-red, maroon, and dark burgundy tones with porous, highly textured surfaces that capture the raw energy of volcanic geology. It can be used for creating classical Iwagumi or wildstyle scapes.
Etna Lava’s dense, bubbled texture is the result of rapid lava cooling, creating a surface packed with pores and cavities that are ideal for beneficial bacteria colonization, epiphytic plant attachment, and moss growth. The darker, more complex coloration of Etna Lava sets it apart from other volcanic stones, offering a richer, more dramatic palette that pairs beautifully with deep green plantings and dark substrates.
As an inert stone, Etna Lava does not affect water hardness, making it safe for sensitive aquatic animals and plants.
