The Ultra Reef Borei Protein Skimmer fully rotates on its base to open and close the regulation valve, making water level adjustments simple, intuitive, and accessible—even in tighter sump spaces. The integrated pump features a user-friendly controller, allowing for easy speed adjustments. Choose from a 5-minute pause mode and a 60-second delayed start mode after blackout. Ultra Reef protein skimmers also include an integrated silencer and a submerged exhaust system for impressive noise reduction. Rubber feet on the base further absorb vibrations, resulting in whisper-quiet operation. When maintenance is due, the Borei skimmer can be fully diassembled for thorough cleaning.
