Thinbar Datnoid – Predatory Fins

Thinbar Datnoids grow to around 14 inches so a minimum tank size of 150 gallons is required. They are a carnivorous fish so feeding them a mixed diet of pellets and live foods work great! These fish can live 10 years and maybe even up to 15 with proper care, so choosing tank mates carefully and keeping water parameters clean is a must. Some great tank mates for this fish are Arowanas, Dinosaur Bichir, Peacock bass, Catfish, as well as other types of Datnoids. All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only.
