Silver Tip Tetra(Hasemania nana) is one of the most reliable and widely kept small tetras — instantly recognizable by the vivid silver to white tips on all fins that create a glittering, star-like effect as the fish moves.Nanameans ‘dwarf’ in Greek. The species lacks the adipose fin of most tetras, placing it in genusHasemania. Males develop more vivid copper-orange body coloration than females when competing.
