How to Use

To raise general hardness by roughly 1 meq/L (about 3 dGH), add 16 grams (one tablespoon) of Equilibrium to every 80 liters (20 US gallons) of water. For best results, dissolve in a small amount of fresh water before adding to the aquarium, ideally during a water change. Adjust the dose to reach the GH your plants and livestock prefer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Equilibrium different from Replenish?
Equilibrium is built for planted tanks and contains no sodium or chloride, while Replenish is balanced for fish in general freshwater. Choose Equilibrium when plants are the priority.

Does it raise KH too?
No. Equilibrium raises general hardness (GH) only. To raise and hold carbonate hardness (KH), use it together with Seachem Alkaline Buffer.

Can I use it with RO water?
Yes. Equilibrium is ideal for remineralizing RO, DI, and other mineral-deficient water before it goes into a planted tank.

How much do I add?
About 16 grams per 80 liters (20 gallons) raises GH by roughly 3 dGH. Adjust to reach your target hardness.
