All motorized Scott Aerator products use high-quality motors. The three-wire motors (2 and 3 HP models) require the use of control boxes. Operation of motors without control boxes or with incorrect boxes can result in motor failure and voids the warranty. Control boxes contain starting capacitors, a starting relay, and, in some sizes, overload protectors, running capacitors, and contactors.
Advertised motors come with only the motor lead (18″), but lengths of power cord are available.Please contact us for additional power cord or larger HP units.
