Sand Stone is an intricate natural stone characterized by its distinct layers and prominent striations, which are created by natural erosion from flowing water. The yellowish-cream coloration provides a warm, bright canvas that helps aquatic plants and livestock stand out in an aquascape. Because of its heavily layered texture, this natural rock is a perfect pick for creating mature, canyon-style aquascaping layouts with a highly geological feel. It is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures as a rugged accent.
