Rotala Fujian is one of many Rotundifolia varieties. This aquarium stem plant features green emersed growth and will develop orange-pink hues in planted aquariums. It is a smaller pink aquarium stem plant and grows more compact than other cultivars, making it great for nano planted tanks and smaller aquascaping projects.
Start with quality basics. A good aquarium LED fixture, nutrient-rich aquarium soil, CO2 injection and a liquid aquatic plant fertilizer. Rotala plants are great for nature-style aquariums! Mix and match various leaf shapes for a myriad of colors and textures. Periodic trimming will be necessary to allow light to penetrate to lower areas of the plant and to encourage branching. Replant healthy tops and you’ll have a bushy section of Rotala in no time.
