The Reverse Osmosis Tank Shut Off Valve is used to turn off the water supply to your pressure tank. This is critical if you ever want to remove the tubing from the pressure tank.
Almost all drinking water pressure tanks will have a standard male threaded nipple on the tank which allows water to enter and exit the tank. The RO Tank Shut Off Valve will let you turn the water feed on and off from the pressure tank. By simply screwing onto the pressure tank you now have full control over the flow in and out of the tank. If you do not have this shut off valve you would need to drain all the water out of the tank before unhooking the tubing from the tank which can waste a lot of water.
Fits standard 1/4″ Polyethylene RO tubing.
