Built-in needle valve and check valve …
CO2is an important, if not the most important, nutrient in the aquarium. Just like the trees in the wild, your aquarium plants need CO2to do photosynthesis. If you dream of an aquarium full of beautiful aquarium plants, then it is best to invest in a good CO2system.
Unfortunately, a well-equipped CO2system is not the only condition for good plant growth, you must also be able to adjust your CO2optimally. Too little CO2leads to poor growth of your plants and therefore to algae growth, but too much CO2can be harmful to your fish.
Plants are dependent on CO2for their photo synthesis. A densely planted aquarium will therefore have a much greater need for CO2than an aquarium that is planted only thinly. It should also be taken into account that fast growing plants use more CO2than slow growing plants.
Just about the most important part of the CO2device is the pressure regulator (regulator) and the needle valve. The pressure reducer is used to reduce the pressure from the CO2bottle to the desired level, in most cases 1.5 bar. With the needle valve you control the amount of CO2 that is injected into the aquarium. The injection rate is usually measured in bubbles per second.
The Red Sea CO2Pressure regulator pressure regulator is equipped with 2 Wika pressure gauges (0-4 bar and 0-250bar) for an accurate reading and a solenoid valve for fine adjustment of the amount of CO2.
The connection fits on the most common gas bottles.
