The water enters the ProfiDrum through the inlets on the dirty side of the drum. It contains mechanical waste that flows to the center of the drum where the screen captures debris. When the water level on the clean side drops below two probes, the drum rotates and a high-pressure pump jets the trapped dirt down a stainless-steel chute to waste. The water level then returns to normal.
The dirt is caught in elongated composite screen panels, functioning like a water wheel inside the drum — lifting debris up, over, and out through the waste chute.
