Bring out the vibrant colors in your aquatic plants with Microbe-Lift Bloom & Grow Iron, a highly concentrated iron supplement (10,000 mg/L) formulated to address and prevent iron deficiency. This ferrous iron (Fe2) gluconate solution is essential for promoting healthy, lush plant growth and is particularly effective in preventing common deficiency symptoms like yellowing between leaf veins (chlorosis) and weak, thin stems.

Regular use of Microbe-Lift Bloom & Grow Iron helps maintain your plants’ health and color without the risk of promoting algae growth, thanks to its nitrate and phosphate-free formula. For optimal results, combine with other BLOOM & GROW™ plant supplements.

Key Benefits:

  • Enhances Vibrant Colors:Promotes deep, rich colors in your aquatic plants.
  • Prevents Yellowing:Helps prevent chlorosis and other signs of iron deficiency.
  • Highly Concentrated Formula:Delivers a powerful dose of iron to support plant health.
  • Nitrate and Phosphate-Free:Maintains water quality without encouraging algae growth.

Iron deficiency in aquatic plants can lead to several distinctive symptoms, often affecting the plant’s overall health and appearance. Here’s how to identify it:

  1. Yellowing of New Leaves (Chlorosis):
  • The most common sign is the yellowing of new, young leaves while the veins remain green. This condition is known as interveinal chlorosis, where the tissue between the veins turns yellow.
  • Stunted Growth:
    • New leaves may appear smaller and may not grow to their full size. Overall plant growth can become slow and stunted due to insufficient iron.
  • Pale or Translucent Leaves:
    • In severe cases, young leaves may become pale or almost translucent, lacking the vibrant green color typical of healthy growth.
  • Weak and Fragile Leaves:
    • The leaves may become weak and fragile, more prone to tearing or breaking easily.
  • Loss of Color in Red or Brown Plants:
    • Plants with red or brown pigmentation may lose their vibrant color, turning pale or even green due to iron deficiency.
  • General Weakness:
    • The overall health of the plant may decline, making it less resilient to other stress factors such as pests, diseases, or changes in water parameters.

    Dosing Instructions

Use 1 tsp. (5 mL) per 50 gal. (189 L) as needed or required to maintain 0.10 mg/L iron.

Use as needed to insure no signs of iron deficiency seen in new growth.
