Pacific Driftwood is a stunning alternative to the more commonly known Malaysian driftwood. Renowned for its striking features, Pacific Driftwood showcases intricate twists and knots that add a unique character to your aquascape.
Key Features:
- Distinctive Appearance:The unique twists and knots of Pacific Driftwood create an eye-catching focal point in your aquarium.
- Ideal for Plant Attachment:Perfect for attaching epiphyte plants and mosses, this driftwood helps you achieve a lush, jungle-like aesthetic.
Please Note:
- Natural Tannin Release:When first introduced, Pacific Driftwood will release tannins. You can pre-soak the wood in water for a couple weeks, with frequent water changes, to remove the bulk of the tannins before use.
- Buoyancy:It may float initially, so securing it to a rock structure is recommended. After a few weeks or months (depending on the wood’s density) it will become waterlogged and no longer float.
- Harmless Fungus:A temporary white fungus may appear at first; this is harmless and can be consumed by fish or shrimp. If preferred, it can be easily removed with gentle scrubbing.
Enhance the beauty of your aquarium with the captivating look of Pacific Driftwood, and create a thriving underwater habitat for your aquatic life!
