Ornatipinnis Cichlid – Natural Environment Aquatix

We love these little Ornatipinnis cichlids! These cichlids are a type of Lake Tanganyika shell dwellers. They grow to be about 2 inches long with the males being slightly larger than the females. They are considered to be social, but need enough room and territories to keep them from constantly fighting. The aggression between them usually comes from breeding pairs defending their territory. Ornatipinnis are carnivorous and will usually take to most carnivorous pellets, frozen foods and live foods. We recommend giving them a high quality pellet and frozen foods on the side for variation.
