NR818 Nitrate Reducing Sulfur Reactor GEN 3 – RED – Geo’s Reef

The NR818 shown below will hold roughly 20 pounds of sulfur media in the chamber and is well suited for heavy loaded aquariums up to 300-600 gallons.

Nitrate Reducing Sulfur reactors are the most underrated methods for reducing nitrates. For those with large bio-loads where you are needing to heavily feed your aquarium this method is hands down the strongest method to get your nitrates down to ZERO. In this situation protein skimmers may not be able to do it alone and with this reactor it can easily be accomplished.
