Myriophyllum sp. “Guyana” is a stunning aquatic plant, prized for its vivid light-green coloration, compact size, and dense, bushy growth. Ideal for nano aquariums, it grows moderately and is reminiscent of Myriophyllum mezianum but features denser foliage, faster growth, and greater ease of care. Unlike many plants, it retains its vibrant green hue even under intense lighting, making it a versatile choice for aquascapers seeking low-maintenance beauty. Each stem measures only about 0.8–1.2 inches, with natural branching that quickly forms lush, compact clusters.
Regular trimming is recommended to ensure optimal light penetration and water flow as the plant thickens. With its manageable growth rate and small stature, Myriophyllum sp. “Guyana” is perfectly suited for creating intricate, vibrant aquascapes in nano tanks or adding fine-textured contrast to larger aquariums.
