1.Tetraselmis chui–Hormones and Antibodies– A large green phytoplankton up to 20 microns in size. This phyto is especially good to help build healthy immune system molecules like hormones and antibodies. These can help protect your coral from bacterial infections and produce what they need to spawn.

2.Tetraselmis lutea–Tissue Repair and Muscle Growth– A medium golden phytoplankton up to 10 microns in size. This phyto contains a very high concentration of precious golden fatty acids like ARA, EPA, and DHA. These help repair damaged tissue and aid in the growth of muscle cells to help your corals be healthy and strong.

3.Rhodomonas salina–Instense Color– A medium-large red phytoplankton up to 16 microns in size. The red chloroplasts of Rhodomonas are unique and corals that consistently ingest them will have brighter, more vivid color.

4.Nannochloropsis oculata (Nanno)–Effortless Feeding– A small green phytoplankton up to 5 microns in size. Nanno lacks flagella (little hair-like appendages that would allow it to move) which makes it easy prey for small polyped corals, pods, and other filter feeding invertebrates. Nanno is another great source of highly unsaturated fatty acids like EPA.

6.Phaeodactylum tricornutum–High Protein + Diatom Control– A long red-green diatom up to 26 microns long and only 3-4 microns wide. This phyto is 49% protein and is a superfood for copepod cultures, filter feeding mollusks, and fish larvae. It also absorbs silicates and is one of the few diatom species that can survive in the absence of silicon, therefore it can outcompete nuisance diatoms in your aquarium.
