Keyhole Cichlid
Keyhole Cichlid(Cleithracara maronii) is one of the most peaceful and community-friendly cichlids available — a pale beige to cream body with a distinctive keyhole-shaped dark marking on the flanks and a dark stripe through the eye. Extremely gentle even by dwarf cichlid standards.

Native to Orinoco River drainage, Venezuela, Guyana, and Trinidad. A planted aquarium with caves, driftwood, and soft slightly acidic water produces the best coloration and most natural behavior.
Keep as a pair with one or two females. Flat or cave surface spawner with devoted biparental care.
