Commonly found attached to rocks or wood in streams and waterfalls, Java fern adapts well to diverse environments, even tolerating periods of drying out. This resilience makes it a favorite among aquarists. When used in aquascaping, it’s best to attach Java fern to wood or stone with fishing line or super glue gel, allowing it to anchor naturally without risk of root rot.
