Jade Mystery Snail(Pomacea bridgesii) displays a green-tinted jade shell — a cool, earthy green that is unusual and attractive in planted aquariums. Mystery Snails are one of the most popular and beginner-friendly freshwater invertebrates available — peaceful, actively visible, and available in a wide range of shell colors. They are excellent algae and detritus cleaners, and their large, rounded shells and distinctive trapdoor make them one of the most recognizable snails in the hobby.

Mystery Snails breathe both through gills and a lung — they regularly extend a breathing siphon to the water surface to take in air. Always leave an air gap between the water surface and the lid.
