The Role of Lithium (Li) in Reef Systems
While specific deficiency symptoms are not yet fully documented, lithium is a significant trace element due to its chemical properties in seawater.

Ionic Presence:Lithium is an extremely light element. Despite its low overall concentration, there is a very high number of lithium ions present in natural seawater, suggesting a foundational biological role.
