Ich-X utilizes the improved Leteux-Meyer formulation, featuring a safer and more effective form of Malachite Green. This advanced treatment effectively addresses protozoan-caused diseases such as “ich” disease (ichthyophthiriasis) in freshwater fish and “marine ich” disease (cryptocaryonaisis) in marine fish.

Ich-X can be safely used in a wide range of temperatures, effectively treating your fish down to 50ºF. This versatility ensures reliable performance in various aquarium conditions.

To treat “ich” disease (ichthyophthiriasis) of freshwater fishes and “marine ich” disease (cryptocaryonaisis) of marine fishes, add one (1) teaspoon (~5 mL) of Ich-X® to 10 gallons (38L) of aquarium water.

Instructions:

1. Remove activated carbon from the filter (if applicable).
2. Perform a 33% water change on the aquarium
3. Dose 5mL of Ich-X for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.
4. Wait 24 hours, then repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 every 24 hours until you don’t see any signs of Ich for 3 days.
6. Perform a final 33% water change, and replace carbon in the filter (if applicable).

To maintain optimal water conditions during treatment, refrain from feeding your fish until after the final water change is performed.
