Dry Running Prevention
The hygger 916 egg-shaped mini heater has a safety feature that automatically powers off when removed from the water. The power cord is 5ft long. With 2 strong suction cups that are easy to install onto a glass, acrylic, or plastic tank.
Built-in Thermometer
The heater with a built-in thermometer, when the temperature setting is done, the LED will show the water temperature at all times.
User-friendly LED Display
The external temperature controller allows for easy adjustments without getting your hands wet. The digital LED display provides a clear view of the real-time water temperature from 63°F to 94°F, and the accuracy is ±1°F. Press the button over and over until it reaches your desired temp, then stop and wait for the digit flashing for 3 times, then the setting is done.
Automatic Shut-off System
This HG916 fully submersible mini heater will activate with a red indicator light once the desired temperature is set. It is designed to shut off automatically when the set temperature is reached, and restart heating when the water temp is 1℉ off the set temperature. If the water temp is over 95℉, the heater will auto shut off and the LED will display HH; it will work again when the water temperature is lower than 95℉.
Usage Tips
Setting the Heater Temperature:
1. Submersion: Place the heater inside the aquarium, ensuring it is fully submerged.
2. Power Connection: Plug in the heater, and you will see a red light indicator and an LED digital display showing the current water temperature.
3. Temperature Adjustment: Press the “Set” button to select your desired temperature. The display will blink for 3 seconds to confirm the setting.
4. Completion: The mini heater will begin heating the water asset.
Note:
1. Full Submersion: Ensure the heater rod remains fully submerged.
2. Safe Removal: Before removing the heater, please turn off the power and allow it to cool for 10 minutes to ensure safety.
3. It only shows Fahrenheit temp.
4. Keep the controller away from water; it’s not waterproof.
