How It Works

1. Intake & Pre-Filtration:

– Water is drawn through the adjustable telescopic intake (9.8″ length) or surface skimmer, which removes oils and films.
– A stainless steel rotary drum immediately sieves out large debris like fish waste and plant matter.

2. 3-Stage Filtration Process:

– Mechanical Stage: Filter floss pads trap fine particles and suspended solids.
– Biological Stage: Ceramic filter balls cultivate beneficial bacteria to break down harmful ammonia and nitrates.
– Chemical Stage (Optional): Add activated carbon or resin (not included) to eliminate odors, discoloration, or toxins.

Usage Tips

1. Critical Installation Tips:
Always prime the filter with water before startup to prevent dry-run damage.
For rimless tanks, ensure mounting clips are fully secured to avoid slippage.
If your tank border is thin enough,<12mm, it can also be installed normally.

Clean the stainless steel drum weekly to prevent clogging.
Replace filter floss every 2–4 weeks, depending on the bioload.
