Iodine is sometimes used as a disinfectant for potable and swimming pooland spa waters. It has also found use as a disinfectant in the poultryindustry. The rapid determination of Iodine is required for adequatecontrol of this bactericide. The HANNAHI 718 Checker®HC is accurate and affordable. The HI 718 Checker®HCportable handheld colorimeter features a resolution of 0.1 ppm (250points) and 5% ±0.1 accuracy of reading.
