Can I add fish the same day I dose TurboStart 700?
Yes — that’s the entire point of TurboStart. Once you’ve dechlorinated the water and dosed the bacteria, livestock can be added immediately. Watch your test results closely for the first week and be ready to do a small water change if you see ammonia.

Will it work in a saltwater tank?
No. The 700 series is freshwater-specific. Fritz also makes a saltwater version (TurboStart 460) with marine-strain bacteria.

Do I need to turn off my UV sterilizer?
