MarcoRocks Foundation Reef Saver Rockis the ideal base for building strong, stable, and visually stunning reef structures. Each piece is cut flat on one side, providing a solid and level foundation for stacking additional rock without adding stress to the aquarium glass or risking instability.

Whether you’re going bare-bottom or using a sand bed, placing foundation pieces spaced approximately 6”–11” apart creates excellent flow beneath the rockwork and prevents debris from settling, promoting a cleaner, healthier system.

How Much Foundation Rock Do You Need?

Rather than using the standard “pound per gallon” rule, we recommend usingapproximately one piece of foundation rock per footof tank length. Having a few extra pieces on hand offers greater creative freedom and helps ensure every part of your scape is supported while allowing for proper water flow.

Rock is naturally fragile and some breakage may occur during shipping. While we inspect and securely pack each box, carrier handling is beyond our control. Shipping insurance does not cover breakage, so we cannot offer replacements
