Farlowella Catfish – Emark Tropical Imports

This unique fish is called a Farlowella Cat, also known as a twig catfish. It’s not hard to see why they are nicknamed the twig cat due to their appearance! They grow to be about 6 inches long and should be kept in at least a 40 gallon aquarium. The bigger the aquarium the better, this is because they can be sensitive to sudden changes in water parameters. Farlowella Cats like their water 73-79°F with a ph from 6.5-7.5. Just like you see in the picture, these catfish love to nibble on wood, so they should have driftwood available at all times in their aquarium. We recommend feeding them a plant based pellet to mimic their natural diet closely.
