Emerald Crabs are known for their appetite for many types of algae most notably “Bubble Algae”. These are generally regarded as being reef safe, get along well with most reef mates and are included within many of our algae control packages. We find these in very shallow water living among coral rubble and coralline algae along with sea cucumbers, pincushion urchins and a variety of other invertebrates. Size is about an inch.
