How to Use

1. Install 4 D-cell batteries in the handle (not included).
2. Submerge the suction head into the tank and turn on. The internal impeller pulls water and substrate debris up through the filter cartridge.
3. Slowly move the head across the gravel/sand bed, hovering just above the substrate so debris is pulled up while heavier substrate stays put.
4. Rinse the filter cartridge between uses; replace when discolored or worn.

FAQ

Does it replace a regular water change?
No — the Quick Vac Pro is a debris cleanup tool. It removes solid waste from the substrate without removing water, so it’s perfect between water changes. You’ll still need to do regular partial water changes (usually 10–25% weekly) to manage dissolved nutrients.

Will it suck up sand?
A small amount of fine sand may be drawn up but the unit is designed to leave most of the substrate behind. Hover the head slightly above the sand bed rather than pressing it directly into it.

What batteries does it take?
4 standard D-cell batteries (not included). Alkaline D batteries are fine; rechargeable D NiMH cells also work well for frequent users.

Can I use it in a reef tank?
Yes — the housing and impeller are saltwater safe. Rinse thoroughly in fresh water after use to prevent salt creep.
