How To Use:

1. Carefully take the plant out of the cup and thoroughly rinse off the growing media (agar) in a container of water.

2.Split the plant in 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors. Definitely use sharp scissors to separate any small foreground plants.

3.Plant the portions into the substrate using tweezers, then watch them grow!

Typically reaching 2–4 inches in height, and occasionally up to about 6 inches under optimal conditions, it forms a dense rosette with narrow, obovate leaves in medium to dark green tones. The foliage often develops a slightly textured, bullate surface with a rounded tip, giving it a distinctive look that sets it apart from larger sword plants.

With its slow growth habit and tidy form, Echinodorus ‘Tropica’ is perfectly suited for the foreground or midground of aquariums, particularly in nano setups or as a compact accent in larger tanks.
