This hardy, fast-growing plant can quickly “carpet” most aquariums. It needs good light, but is a great choice as a ground-covering plant as it is otherwise undemanding and hardly ever needs trimming. Eleocharis acicularis is also known as dwarf hair grass, needle spikerush, or least spikerush.
