We love Crypt Parva! Cryptocoryne Parva is considered one of the smallest variations within the Cryptocoryne family. This small aquarium plant offers bright green color and a low-growing profile that makes it best for accents in the foreground of a planted aquarium or as a carpeting aquarium plant. It is also a top pick for nano planted tank or small aquariums.
It is a notoriously slow grower, making patience a requirement for heavy coverage. However, it is one of the few species that doesn’t transform into an entirely different plant, making it great for aquascapers who value uniformity. Once planted, it benefits from being left alone, as frequent repositioning or uprooting can slow its development. This little Crypt doesn’t require CO2, but we recommend it whenever possible.
