Cryptocoryne Petchii, also known as Cryptocoryne Becketii Petchii, is a moderately sized variety of Cryptocoryne Beckettii that originates from Sri Lanka. This aquatic plant features varying color that includes olive-brown tones and slightly fluted leaves that can develop deep purple undersides.
Final size, color and overall form weigh heavily on the environment in which the plant is kept. It is hardy in nature and is suitable for low tech planted aquariums or in shaded areas of high-tech setups once mature. To help it establish healthy roots, choose a nutrient-dense substrate or provide root tabs. While it isn’t required, the addition of CO2 will support better growth and form.
