Cholla Wood – 4 Inch

Cholla Wood is the dried husk of the Cholla Cactus and is a popular natural hardscape material for shrimp tanks, nano aquariums, terrariums, and reptile enclosures. Its hollow structure provides natural shelter for shrimp, fry, and other tiny critters.

Over time, Cholla Wood develops a natural biofilm that is readily grazed by shrimp and other microfauna. It can be used on its own, covered with aquatic mosses, terrarium mosses or paired with rhizome plants such as Bucephalandra and Anubias to create natural-looking logs.
