Blueberry Tetra
Blueberry Tetra(Hyphessobrycon wadai) is a vivid deep blue to blue-purple Hyphessobrycon described in 2013 by Ohara et al. from the upper Rio Tapajós — a remarkably vivid and purely blue-bodied tetra with no competing color elements. The blueberry name perfectly captures the deep, saturated blue-purple body.

Native to the upper Rio Tapajós in Mato Grosso, Brazil. Described in 2013, making it a recent addition to the scientific literature. Soft, slightly acidic blackwater conditions preferred.
Keep in groups of at least 8. The deep blue-purple is most vivid in soft acidic water with tannins.
