To ensure optimal growth, Bacopa monnieri Compact benefits from bright light (0.5 watts per liter or more), although it can adapt to lower light levels. The addition of CO2 and a nutrient-rich substrate will support more robust and compact growth. In high light and CO2 conditions, maintain sufficient nitrate (around 5 mg/l) and phosphate (0.25-0.5 mg/l) levels to promote healthy development. Bacopa monnieri can also grow in brackish water.
