The filter includes a Bio-Holster™ cartridge holder for beneficial bacteria to grow (biological filtration) and an Aqueon® EcoRenew™ cartridge made from sustainable fibers and infused with carbon. Both feature a NoDrip design that helps to eliminate water mess when changing them out.
