Anubias Barteri Butterflyis an exquisite cultivar that earns its name from the delicate, wing-like shape of its leaves. Unlike the broader, rounder foliage of standard Anubias barteri, the Butterfly variety produces elongated leaves with a distinctive form that adds graceful movement and elegance to any planted aquarium. The rich green coloration and unique leaf structure make this one of the most sought-after Anubias cultivars among aquascaping enthusiasts.

Planting tip:Never bury the rhizome in substrate — Anubias Barteri Butterfly should always be attached to driftwood, rock, or other hardscape with the rhizome fully exposed. Use cotton thread or aquarium-safe adhesive to secure it, and the plant will anchor itself naturally over time.

Anubias Barteri Butterfly is just as hardy and adaptable as other members of the Anubias family. It flourishes in low to moderate light, does not require CO₂ injection, and tolerates a broad range of water parameters including temperatures between 72 and 82°F and a pH of 6.0 to 7.5. Regular dosing with a quality liquid fertilizer will support healthy growth and maintain the deep green hue of its distinctive leaves.

Like all rhizome Anubias, Butterfly must be attached to driftwood or stone using cotton thread or aquarium-safe adhesive, keeping it fully exposed.
