Alternanthera reineckii rosaefolia is native to South America and is an easy and attractive red plant for the midground or background. It is regularly featured in Dutch aquascapes and is easily propagated through stem cuttings. It can survive without Co2 and in low light conditions. However, mid to high intensity lighting, good fertilization and Co2 will bring the plant to its full potential.

About Tissue Cultured Plants
