The AF90 will work with activated carbon, phosphate adsorbents, and zeolites from any manufacturer; however, Aquaforest strongly recommends using their optimized mix of Aquaforest filtration media: AF Carbon, Phosphate Minus, and Zeo Mix.

The AF90 features a versatile leak-proof design that can be placed either in the sump chamber or outside the aquarium when sump space is limited.
