All of our koi are hand-picked in Japan and brought back to the US. We choose from the best breeders and offer a wide variety that include every variety we can get our hands on. All of the koi are quarantined for a minimum of 4 weeks, during that time we perform slime coat swipes and various other tests to check for any parasites/illnesses and medicate as necessary. Our goal is to provide you with healthy, beautiful koi that you will enjoy for years to come.

Goshiki – (go-she-key) : These are white (Shiro) Koi with red (Hi) pattern similar to a kohaku but will have black reticulation on the scales. There are generally two accepted styles of the Goshiki, New Style and Old Style although many Koi will fall in between the two. Old Style has heavy black reticulation on both the white and red scales of the Koi. New Style has light reticulation on the scales that appears to look light grey and usually is limited to the white scales. New Style usually has more white showing as well.
Doitsu koi have a unique lack of scales, which gives them a smooth, almost velvety appearance as they glide through the water. This absence of scales allows their vibrant colors to shine brilliantly.
